Come enjoy the International Draft Horse, Mule and Pleasure Driving
Horse Show at the L.A. Fair in Pamona!
For more than a quarter century this acclaimed event entertains
standing room only crowds with an amazing extravaganza of breeds and classes.
Part of the $10,000 North American Six Hitch Classic, it's a truly visual
symphony as Belgians, Suffolks, Shires, Clydesdales, Percherons, Gypsy Horses,
Mules, Donkeys, Friesians, Hackneys, and Ponies compete for national points.
You'll be transported back to the days of surreys and buckboards as teams of
pairs, four in hand, six up, tandem, and unicorn hitches and wagons wheel by.
Come see bareback riding on these gentle giants. You'll be amused with speed
events as drafts, mules and donkeys do barrel racing, pole bending, and squeeze
into the keyhole. Mules will humor you with coon jumping, hunter/jumper,
dressage, western trail and reining classes. The Concours D'Elegance for drafts,
mules, horses and ponies redefines the essence of the word "Elegance" of the
turnout vehicle and harness appointments, passengers and grooms. And new for
this show is the $1,000 Show for the Gold Halter Futurity.
